Here’s a gourmet recipe that’s perfect for entertaining as well as pleasing guests: Baked brie! When the mercury starts falling, it’s time to serve this classic appetizer to your guests. I’ve decided to go with a mix of apple, garlic and thyme, but the combinations are endless. Let your imagination run wild !
Serves: 4
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- Brie, approximately 200g
- 1 apple, color of choice, diced
- 1/8 cup (30 ml) walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey
- 1 tsp (5 ml) fresh thyme (1/2 teaspoon if using dried thyme)
- 1 clove garlic, grated
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Place Brie in an ovenproof dish.
- Arrange remaining ingredients around and on top of cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Serve your baked brie with crackers or a baguette of your choice.
