Tahini and Chocolate Protein Squares

Who says a chocolate breakfast can’t be wholesome and satisfying? Here’s a way to use your protein powder other than in a smoothie…in theses tahini and chocolate squares! It can be an easy addition to your breakfast recipes to make them more nourishing.
If you prefer not to use protein powder, you can always use Natrel or Fairlife ultrafiltered protein milk instead of conventional milk. In this case, you’ll need to increase the amount of rolled oats so that it’s not too runny (allow for about 1/3 cup more rolled oats).
What’s more, for a change from peanut butter, I use sesame butter (tahini) here, which adds an interesting flavor!
Yield: 8 squares
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30-35 minutes
I recommend two squares for a complete breakfast or one square for a healthy snack!
